GAME CHANGER SIMULATION UNDERSTANDING AND SHAPING THE
FUTURE
Technological upheavals, climate change, geopolitical
uncertainties, and new regulatory frameworks: our world is
under constant pressure to change. Companies and
institutions must not only make faster decisions - they must
act more intelligently, think in a more connected way, and
operate more sustainably.
This is precisely where the Game Changer Simulation
initiative comes in. It brings together people, organizations,
and technologies to establish simulation - combined with
Artiﬁcial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance
Computing (HPC) - as a strategic tool for shaping the future.
Simulation not only optimizes processes - it anticipates
developments, enhances system safety, and paves the way
for more sustainable business practices. Whether in mobility,
energy, health, chemistry, education, or research: the ﬁelds
of application are as diverse as they are vital to our society.
The initiative sees itself as a strategic platform within the
ASCS association - as a community and driver of new
impulses. Its oﬀerings aim to systematically promote
knowledge transfer, cooperation, and innovation around
simulation. This takes place through expert events,
interactive formats, white papers, research initiatives,
and strategic dialogues with partners from industry,
science, and politics.
One key characteristic: the initiative’s activities are never
arbitrary. They are purposefully designed - professionally
grounded, thematically relevant, and always with the
ambition to achieve real impact.
Since its premiere event in March 2023 - where ten
forward-looking theses on the role of simulation in mobility
development were jointly formulated with industry
representatives - the initiative has steadily grown.
